Former Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Ty Masterpool will make his 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross debut this Saturday in Houston, he announced on social media.
Masterpool, who spent last year with the factory 250 squad, will race in the 450SX Class this weekend on his own program aboard a YZ450F.
“See y’all this weekend in Houston so hyped to get back to racing,” he wrote.
After turning pro with Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing in 2019, Masterpool spent time with BarX Suzuki and HBI Racing before moving to Mitch Payton’s team in 2023.
Masterpool missed most of the Monster Energy Supercross season in 2025 due to injury, making just one main event–a 21st place finish in San Diego. He returned for Pro Motocross, finishing 16th in points.
In the SuperMotocross Playoffs, Masterpool had a good run, going 10-4-5 to claim sixth in points.
