We are three rounds into the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship and in this edition of “Most Likely” I look into who will benefit the most if it rains and give my podium predictions for High Point.
Dig in below….
Could be a mudder at High Point. Who is most likely to benefit in the 450 class?
While we don’t really know if the rain will come this Saturday, it is looking likely. And if it does, you know who it benefits: Aaron “Mother Fing” Plessinger. I don’t need to give you the entire spill on why and GNCC days and blah blah. You know all this. See below on how I think AP does in the mud.
I also think it benefits Jorge Prado. The first couple rounds have been a struggle, but when you grow up racing in Europe you are used to these conditions. Its exactly what Prado needs to get back on track in the U.S.
Who is most likely to benefit in the 250 class?
The field. Haiden Deegan is already 25 points clear of Jo Shimoda in second and we are three rounds down. If anyone is going to have a chance of getting back in this championship, they need Deegan to have an off round. A mudder brings that into play.
Most likely podium in each class?
450
AP
Jett
Hunter
250
Hymas
Deegan
Mikkel Haarup (if its a mudder)
