Welcome to the Vurbmoto Roundtable! It’s a feature we had in the early days and now it’s such a legend that it makes a return. Our panel of experts, Bird and T-Dog, give their best opinion on hot topics in the sport. We also let Slaw give his opinion, but no one cares what he has to say. Let’s get to it!

Can Levi Kitchen bounce back from his rib injury to win the 250SX West Region?

Bird Dog – I broke two ribs when I was in my 20s. Actually, I hairline fractured them, but whatever. I also got bronchitis at the same time and I can tell you one thing for sure, I wasn’t going racing. I also didn’t have a six figure bonus on the line, though I was going for my local C class championship and still wasn’t able to line up. I hate to say it, but I think RJ is going to steal this one. He’s up two points with two rounds to go, and he just gained a boat load of confidence in Nashville. He’s seasoned and he’s due. I hate to see Kitchen go out like that, but that’s racing unfortunately.

Troy Dog – Man, I did give my answer to this yesterday on the Vanilla Racing Broadcast (available now on the Vurbmoto Podcast Network), but let’s get to it in written form. The weekend off for the West Coast riders couldn’t have come at a better time for Kitchen, who was in the hospital right after Nashville to get his ribs looked at. IF they are broken these next two rounds aren’t going to be fun. Kitchen’s race charge was amazing from way last to 14th, but he’s going to need to win and at least keep a confidence filled RJ behind him. It’s only two points, but I’m worried. I think RJ may be able to bring this one home.

Slaw Dog – For weak humans like Bird Dog, this would be a problem. For riders like The Chef, this isn’t a big deal. Sure, he will be in pain, but it won’t be anything compared to Nashville where he went from last to 14th. Plus, he has time to recover. I still have him for the Ship.

Is our Garage Sale on Shopvurb.com likely to make even Jason Weigandt open his wallet?

Bird Dog – Impossible. Sure, it’s the greatest sale to ever take place, but no way Weege is supporting us like that. I wish I felt differently, but based on the data all signs point to no.

Troy Dog – Our garage sale is incredible. I consider myself a frugal man as well and we’ve got some shirts for $20 and kids shirts for $10! So yes, I do believe that Weege will be proud to bust open that dusty wallet of his to make a purchase. These are the best shirts since shirts. I will be asking him about this eventually just to prove that I’m right.

Slaw Dog – I don’t think Weege would spend $20 to feed his children, rather less on a t-shirt or hat.

We’ve partnered with our best buddy Jeff Emig on the Fro 400 coming to Vurbapalooza in Washougal on June 14-16. Please explain in your own words what this means to everyone who will be in attendance.

Bird Dog – We’ve been trying to put on a badass event in the Northwest for four years now, and I have a feeling this is the year. The first two years were ruined due to covid in 2021 and an astronomical amount of rain in 2022. We finally got to lay some groundwork last year and now we’re doubling down with Fro of all people.

There’s truly something for everyone at this event. Off road with the Fro400, motocross race on Sunday and the Pit Bike straight rhythm. What more could you ask for?

Troy Dog – My best friend Fro is now a contributor to Vurb! How cool is that?! The legend Jeff Emig has a lot of great things going on right now, with plenty more projects in the works. We’re glad that we were able to team up with him for this stop on the Vurb Shred Tour.

You can honestly just expect to have a really good time with old and new friends while riding your dirt bike in the most picturesque conditions in the country. Our events are jam packed with giveaways, fun, dirt bikes, hot dogs, and now hanging out with the legends of the sport.

Slaw Dog – This may be the greatest event ever to hit the PNW. There will probably be 300 Afros being sold by US (no one has confirmed this, btw). We will be having fun racing in the woods, fun riding pitbike straight rhythm and then fun riding motocross. What else could you ask for in a moto weekend?
