2020 Monster Energy Cup Canceled

The 2020 Monster Energy Cup, which was scheduled for October 10 in Carson, California, has been canceled, Feld Entertainment announced today.

At the season opening press conference, Feld announced that the event, which had been held in Las Vegas, Nevada, since its inception in 2012, was moving to Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson for this year.

Then the COVID-19 pandemic hit and threw everything into havoc. Monster Energy Supercross was pushed back, as was the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross schedule, which is now set to end on October 10 at Pala, the same day the MEC was set to take place.

This announcement is no surprise given the circumstances.
