Watch the EMX-Pro Electric Bike Testing on a Heavy Sand Track

We’ve talked a bit about the a new electric bike called the EMX-Pro. It’s a joint project developed by Dutch companies ELEO and Dohms Projecten B.V., with support from Yamaha Motor Europe N.V. and the Royal Dutch Motorcycle Association for Motorcycling (KNMV) and the bike shares the same chassis as the current Yamaha YZ250F.

A few months back, they released a short video of the bike in action, and now they have another video of a testing session.

Here is the official press release and the test video below. What do you think about the new bike?

The EMX-PRO was tested on different tracks in Europe. Hard, medium and deep sand tracks.

The electric dirt bike performs well on different track conditions.  With familiar handling character of its petrol predecessor the EMX-PRO feels stable and controllable in fast jumps and corners. Using the mapping switch, the desired engine characteristic can be selected for different track conditions.

As we speak improvements are being developed and implemented. EMX Powertrain is committed to continuing to push the boundaries of its electric powertrain and battery.
