The 500 East Returns to Lincoln Trail Oct 16-17 | Registration Now Open

You don’t need another normal race on your calendar. You need one that you’ll never forget. The 500 East presented by Michelin returns to Lincoln Trail in Casey, IL, October 16-17, 2026. Practice will take place Friday, Oct 16. The race will be Saturday, Oct 17.

Part off-road, part moto, all fun! An 8-hr and 20 minute (500 total minutes) Fundurance team (or solo for you crazies) event that combines two tamed down moto tracks, a 5+ mile off-road loop, and a hard enduro section (don’t worry, we have a Scaredy Cat Lane), averaging 17 min lap times. This race isn’t about lap times or gate picks. It’s about hanging out with great friends, riding your dirt bike and enjoying some laughs. Grab your buddies and make a decision you can regret together.

The 500 would not be possible without the support of Michelin, Moose Offroad, Z1R, Yamaha and Prospect.

WHO CAN RACE + COST

Age limit: 85/Supermini and up. (12yrs and older). Spots are limited, but the fundurance is never ending.

Who is this event for? Everyone. From the washed up riders like Jace and ourselves to the weekend warrior to accomplished off-road and GNCC racers, everyone will have a good time. This event is meant to be fun, that is all that matters. Good times, dirtbikes and good friends is what The 500 East is all about.

THIS EVENT WILL BE CAPPED AND WILL SELL OUT. There are no split payments – the team’s entry fee and any additional costs must be paid in full during online registration. We suggest signing up and then forming your team. Team riders will check in onsite at the event.

Team Limit: We are limiting the event to 150 teams.

Cost breakdown:

Solo: $200

2 Rider Team: $300

3 Rider Team: $300

4 Rider Team: $400

PIT LOCATIONS

Pit Locations: Pits are sold individually and will represent your starting position (New for 2026). For example, all 100 pit locations will start first, followed by the 200 locations, and so on. Want to get a jump on the competition, better be near the front.

Pitting: Riders are not required to pit. If you want to torture yourself with multiple laps, you can skip pit lane.

When pitting, you will ONLY go down your respective pit lane (see map below). Also of note, all pit lanes will be a mandatory 10mph speed limit. Riders breaking the speed limit will be subject to disqualification.

Below is the pit map for 2026. When signing up, you will be required to pick the pit location you want to be at during the race. You cannot change this once on-site. If you want to pit close with your friends or family, we suggest signing up at the same time and picking locations close to one another.

CLASS LIST

We have simplified the class list for 2026. They are as follows:

Ironman (Solo)

2 Rider Teams

3 Rider Teams

4 Rider Teams

In simple terms: If you sign up for a 2 rider team, you will be competing against other 2 rider teams for the class win, no matter if your combined team age is 40000 or 100. There will also be an overall team or solo rider winner.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Teams members can ride their own bike or share a bike or bikes. The only rule is you MUST have your transponder attached for each lap or you won’t be properly scored. If pitting and switching bikes, you MUST swap transponders.

ONE TRANSPONDER PER TEAM.
