Ken Roczen is back in the mix! A dominating performance from the Suzuki pilot has the German just 14 points back in the 450SX title chase behind new points leader Eli Tomac following his win at round 11 in Detroit. But, did you know that was his 25th career win and that he’s only the 11th rider in history to achieve such a feat? Now I do and so do you.

Meanwhile, Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing’s Cole Davies has taken control of what looked like a wide-open 250SX East Division following a third straight win. But, did you know that it was Yamaha’s 150th as a brand in 250SX? Now I do and so do you.

Ken Roczen’s Win

  • Was the 25th of his 450SX career
  • He is only the 11th rider in history with 25 or more career wins
  • It was his 53rd SMX League win (12th all-time)
  • And his 170th career SMX League podium, which is 6th all-time
  • Detroit marked his 173rd career 450SX start, tying him with Jeremy McGrath for 10th all-time
  • The win was the second of the year for Roczen which gives Suzuki its first multi-win season since 2016, which also came from Roczen when he won 5 times with the now defunct RCH Suzuki

Chase Sexton’s Second

  • Was his 47th career 450SX podium
  • He is now 17th all-time in podium history
  • In addition, it was his 107th career SMX League podium
  • Detroit was just his 2nd podium in 8 starts in 2026

Malcolm Stewart’s Third

  • Was his 1st podium of 2026
  • Detroit was his first podium since a 2nd at the Salt Lake City finale in 2025
  • It was his 8th career 450SX podium
  • It was also his 20th career SMX League podium

250SX East

Cole Davies Win

  • Was his 3rd straight (yes, he was credited with the win in Birmingham)
  • And the 5th of his young 250SX career
  • Through 14 career starts he has 8 podiums
  • The win marked Yamaha’s 150th 250SX class win
  • The brand is 3rd all-time behind Honda (155) and Kawasaki (196)

Seth Hammaker’s Second

  • Is his 14th career 250SX podium in just his 34th start
  • Milestone: It was the 70th career SMX League start
  • In those starts, he has 17th SMX League podiums

Jo Shimoda

  • Also claimed his 14th career podium
  • His comes in his 56th career start
  • It was his 47th SMX League podium
