Stewsday: Let’s Revisit the Famous Myspace Whip

Welcome to Stewsday, we’re we’ve taken Tuesday and made it all about the legend James Stewart. Every week we’ll revisit some of our favorite Stew memories and reminisce on the good old days. This column is sponsored by Troy Dog who is always up to date on everything Stew.

Where were you when you first saw this video? You were probably updating your top friends on Myspace, right? This clip just brings back memories of jamming out to Fall Out Boy or Soulja Boy (depending on your favorite genre of music). THESE WERE PEAK TIMES.

The Myspace Whip

Look, despite this clip looking like it was filmed on a potato, it still bangs. Stew wide open on a 450, never letting off, on one of his big hitters, into a whip is just music to the ears and eyes. I remember thinking it was insane how inverted that he got. I must have watched this clip a million times. I don’t know who leaked it or if it was Stew’s official account that originally posted this.

All I know is that this clip went viral when going viral was in its infancy. We’re spoiled now with the way that we receive our Instabangers these days. Look at Stew, leading the charge once again. I probably spent 6 hours trying to download this clip back in the day. That was after I begged my mom to let me clog up the landline and go on the internet for a couple of hours to look up the latest motocross news.

We’ve come a long way indeed.Let’s hear you guys in the comments. What does this clip remind you of?
