Based in St. George, Utah, Amped has quickly solidified themselves as the lead distributor for electric bikes, including our favorites, the Sur-Ron Light Bee and Talaria Sting, both of which you will now be able to demo at ALL Shred Tour stops. And we’ll even give you $100 off your next order when entering the code “vurbmoto” upon checkout.
WE DID IT! And when I say we, I mean I did it. Yep, I wrote this fire blog for 17 straight rounds of Monster Energy Supercross and you bet your sweet Slaw I’ll be back for Pro Motocross. Let’s get into the final round.
As the greatest wrastler alive, Ric Flair, once said: “I’m the stylin’, profilin’, limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin’ and dealin’ son of a gun.”
As always, we will first review my amazing picks from Nashville before we get into Denver.
Prediction | Sexton Goes Back-to-Back
I think Tomac continues to play it safe and Sexton takes advantage to grab another win.
Sexton has really figured out how to close the deal late.
Slawdiction: 100 out of 10.
Prediction | Jett Wins
Bold, I know.
He won the title, pretty sure that’s what I meant. Well, at least that is what we are going with.
Slawdiction: 100 out of 10.
Prediction | Noren Wins Pulp Race
The PulpMX Privateer race is today (Friday) in Denver and WE are live streaming it. Go here for pre-entry list. I think Fast Freddy takes it.
Poor, Freddy. That crash was worth about 17K, or more than Troy Dog makes in a year.
Slawdiction: 17K out of 10.
Prediction | Someone Downs a Dog on the Podium
In case you didn’t know, I, leader of Slaw Nation, is giving $100 to ANY privateer who downs a dog on the podium. I think Karnow does it.
I’m not mad, just disappointed.
Prediction | Tomac Takes Second
Umm… lots of guys out. Tomac takes runner-up!
Awful. Terrible. Awful. Bummer. Terrible way to end the season for Tomac who all but had locked up a third SX title. I hope he makes it back for next year.
On to SLC, the Crown Jewel of the series.
Sexton Wins Title
Call me crazy, but I think Chase Sexton takes the 450SX title, ending the GOAT curse for Honda. Slaw likes to live dangerously.
Justin Hill Podium
Raise your hand if you saw this coming from Justin Hill? Put your hand down, Josh. What a comeback season for J Hill. If we had awards like literally every other sport, Hill would win Comeback Rider of the Year. He ends the year with a podium.
Going out on a bun here, and honestly, this is just something I, and everyone in the pits, wants to see. AC wins, starts a podcast on the Vurbmoto Podcast Network and takes over the world.
Yeah, I don’t think they really care about this race, but still, I think they want to end their 250SX careers on top. Also, they are tied in career wins going into SLC. Motivation? I think so. Hunter takes the W over little bro.
Privateer Top 5 in 450SX
Ummmm… yeah injuries have sucked the life out of the 450 class. Good news for the animals on privateer island though. At least on privateer with a top 5 this weekend.
