Seth Hammaker, Dylan Ferrandis and More Penalized Following Nashville Supercross

Following round 13 of Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Nashville, TN, AMA Race Direction announced penalties to Seth Hammaker in the 250SX main event and Dylan Ferrandis in the 450SX main event for cutting the track and penalties to Jeremy Hand, Marcus Phelps, Ryder Floyd, Drew Adams and Luke Clout for jumping on a red cross flag/lights.

Hammaker received a two position penalty for cutting the track (it most be noted, it was very minor) after crashing late in the main event. It moves him from third to fifth in the final results. With Hammaker’s penalty, Devin Simonson moves to third. It is the first career podium for Simonson in 250SX.

Following the penalty to Hammaker, Cole Davies’ points lead expanded to 29 points with three races to go.

Ferrandis was docked one position for cutting the track (his was more blatant). The penalty moves Ferrandis from fifth to sixth in the final results. The penalty moves Justin Hill into fifth, a season-high for the past 250SX champion.

Meanwhile, Hand, Phelps, Floyd, Adams and Clout were all docked five championship points for jumping on a red cross flag/lights during the main event.
