– I’ve been going to RedBud since 2005 and I’ve ssen sone great crowds, however I have not seen any crowd as big as this year’s. The infield was stacked up and you could barely walk. It was amazing. The biggest RedBud crowd that I’ve ever seen. Motocross is healthy in Michigan.
– Kirk Newman is the head of RedBud Security, if you’re in trouble and you’re talking to him, well that’s bad news for you. However, Kirk Dog is my friend and goes out of his way to accomodate my trip to RedBud every year. He’s the man and I’m able to go and get my content very easily with his help. Thanks bro.
– The summer of Hymas! I’ll be honest, entering this Pro Motocross Championship I didn’t have Hymas as a championship contender, or race winner. He had a small sample size of Nationals last year, with some awesome results, so maybe I should have seen this coming?
– Five rounds to go in the Pro Motocross Championship and Sexton is coming off of a 1-1 performance and he has taken over the red plate.
– Masterpool should be higher on this list. My children were each handed a pair of goggles from an amazing Kawasaki team employee and one of them was Ty’s second Moto goggles. We went over and had him sign them and he was the same ol’ Ty. Super nice and genuine. He’s having an incredible summer. That first 250 Moto was an instant classic. I haven’t heard the crowd that loud since 2007 with RC vs. Stew.
– Trey Canard is a BIG reason for Honda’s success right now. He’s helping develop this bikes to the next level and you can see that in the results on the track. I also had the chance to hang out a bit with Trey yesterday at the 2025 Honda CRF450R launch. We had a great time and he filled me in on some information that I can share with you next Wednesday!
– Honda HRC is no longer the feared entity in the pits. The “win-or-get-out” mantra has now moved to the Star Racing Yamaha team. Honda is now a place to feel welcome. Their employeed and riders are all in this together and are like a family. It was cool to see how much the moment meant to them where Jo and Chance were standing on the podium together at RedBud.
– Hi, I’m Troy Dog, the President of “The Hunties”, theHunter Lawrence fan club. Would you like to join? H. Lawrence is achieving some big goals this summer as he has become a championship contender.
– Vurb Test Rider Ashton Bloxom and I were at the Honda CRF450R Intro yesterday at Ironman and Ash Doggy was absolutely shredding on the bike. We can’t wait to tell you all about it. He flew directly to Minnesota last night to get ready for Spring Creek. Good vibes were had. Coach Trey helped.
– Shimoda is one of the most genuine people in the sport. He was so happy for Hymas to get his first overall win. Jo Show is also trending up in the results. He’s finished third overall two weeks in a row and won a Moto at Southwick.
