Welcome to the 2023 Slaw/Troy Dog/Ginger Dog Combined 250/450 Top Ten Power Rankings! Slaw, Ginger, and Troy each have created their own list of who they believe carry the most power in the sport. They each have created their own categories and have weighted these people accordingly, whether its speed, following, skills, you name it. Or it could just be random. Basically, whatever is happening that week is fair game.

Each week these rankings will be updated so that you guys can argue about how wrong they are in the comment section! Feel free to tell us if we’re right/wrong/or completely dumb.

Ginger Dog

-Love him or hate him, the choice is yours. All I know is the kid was on another level at Washougal.

-Undefeated

-I love a good ’90s throwback. The bike looked hella fly.

-He wants to beat Jett so badly. I would love to see him break the winning streak…but will it happen?

-Eli, how?

-Another privateer power award for Mr. Ty. The dude is still charging.

-Carson went 9-9 on a 250 after riding a 450 for the past month. Finishing in the top 10 after any time out is pretty impressive.

-I’ll admit it, I don’t know much about Talon but he’s been catching my eye lately. He’s a rider I find myself picking for my fantasy team. His results from the summer have been fairly consistent and he took 11th at the Wash. I like it.

-T made some unacceptable comments about the fact that I lack dirt bike knowledge. Hey, I’ve already admitted I know a little bit about a lot. He may or may not have used the word “dumb.” I may have to team up with Slaw Doggy now.

-I went seven days without a single cup of coffee while on vacation. Why did I do that? Coffee is life.

Slaw Dog

-It’s Loretta’s szn. If you don’t like Loretta’s you don’t like moto. Period.

-Along with Fox, WE are bringing back the iconic Radio Fox program for Loretta’s. Kevin Kelly and Weege are hosting. We are some awesome guests lined up like Ryan Dungey, Jo Shimoda, Christian Craig, DC and much more. Tune in all week on the Vurbmoto YouTube channel or listen on the Vurbmoto Podcast Network.

-Nothing better than sweating your ass off all week and then jumping in the creek, drinking 7 to 100 beers and living life with the boys.

-Dude, that second moto was all-time. It was so smooth, yet so on the edge. WE have a title fight ahead and I love it.

-Jett gonna Jett just like I predicted.

-Dude left it on the line. Had a damn heat stroke and still won the Two-Smoke challenge. Carson is two-strokes.

-Great to see Mr. Fried back on the podium.

-He’s giving it his all and he really doesn’t have to. Respect.

-AP is a national treasure. We must protect him at all costs.

-Still the points leaders.

Troy Dog

-You can hear about the top five more in depth in this week’s Squad Pod. So, if you haven’t listened yet, we are on episode 8 and it’s a great show. Listen on the Vurbmoto Podcast Network. Anyway, I drove my family to Florida and back and I didn’t get lost once.

-Jettson is 16-0 and will be 22-0 at the end of the series.

-Deegs dropped a 2:15 laptime and was absolutely FLOWING at Washougal. This championship is getting interesting.

-Loretta Lynn’s is next week and I can’t wait to watch the next generation of talent show what they can do. For some riders dreams will be made, while others will learn a lot about themselves.

-The Cincinnati Reds are 0.5 games out of first place in the NL Central AT THE END OF JULY. This is a huge turnaround from the 100 games they lost last season. We’re going to win the World Series baby!

-Colt showed up to Washougal fresh off of WSX and went 10-10 on the day. He beat a ton of series regulars and that is super impressive to do that in the heat of things.

-Travis.953 is a former Vurbmoto videographer (National Security, anyone?) Travis Steward’s son. WE are currently working on signing Travis Jr. to the T-Dog Squad. Why? He rips and he’s now up to 725,000 followers on TikTok. WE have a verbal agreement, but now I need to send the agreement over. The Steward family were Squad before the Squad existed.

-Mumford came back to finish 9-9 in a stacked 250 class at Washougal for Pro Circuit. I think we will see him on a factory bike in 2024.

-Anderson finished third overall with a 4-4, but that’s not the reason he made the ranks. We all know how good he is. He’s on here for his press conference answers and the way that he carried himself. We don’t often get to hear what he thinks, so it was nice that he was honest, especially when it came to him talking about constantly having to adapt to racecraft.

-Shoutout to Jerry Robin and get well soon! Earlier this week he had to get surgery on his elbow due to septic. That’s a very scary situation. Jerry has been through a lot the past two years and he keeps going.
