Loretta’s season is here! Regionals are complete, families are packing up and beginning their trek to the Ranch, and riders are starting to get that familiar feeling in their stomach. With the race days out, I’m here to break down the top 15 riders in the Vurbmoto National Rankings heading into the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.

#4: Jett Stultz
Jett Stultz enters Loretta Lynn’s as one of the most consistent young riders in the country. He punched his ticket to the ranch with a 1st in Micro 1 and a 3rd in Micro 2 at the Fox Raceway Regional. He’s also ranked No. 2 in the Dirty 100 for the 51cc (4-6) Shaft Limited class, showing he’s been one of the top performers all season long.
The numbers only reinforce that consistency. Across 392 career races, Stultz has recorded 351 top-10 finishes and 98 podiums, while averaging just 5.32 overall and 5.15 per moto. He also knows how to get out front early, averaging 5.06 on the opening lap and leading 325 career laps, nearly 20% of every lap he’s completed.
#3: Carter Holmes
Carter Holmes has been a fixture at the front of the amateur ranks for years, and he’ll once again be a contender at Loretta Lynn’s. Holmes has amassed an incredible 14 AMA Area Qualifier wins dating back to 2024. He finished 2nd in 65cc 10-11 and 3rd in 65cc 10-11 Limited at the Gatorback Regional.
Few riders can match Holmes’ experience. Across 1,161 career races, he has recorded 897 top-10 finishes and 325 podiums, while leading 363 laps—nearly 20% of every lap he’s raced. His 7.7 average overall finish, 6.65 average moto finish, and 6.17 average first-lap position show the consistency that’s made him one of the most accomplished riders in the amateur scene and a rider to watch in the 65cc (10-11) classes.
#2: Dylan Graham
Dylan Graham heads to Loretta Lynn’s as one of the favorites in the Mini ranks. Graham dominated the qualifying season, winning Mini Sr 1 and Mini Sr 2 at the Fox Raceway Regional. He’s also ranked No. 6 in the Dirty 100 for Mini Sr. 2 (13-15), a reflection of the speed he’s shown throughout the year.
His career numbers are just as impressive. In 684 career races, Graham has posted 619 top-10 finishes and 233 podiums, while averaging an outstanding 4.43 overall finish and 4.32 per moto. He also gets to the front in a hurry, averaging 3.22 on the opening lap and leading 1,172 career laps—an incredible 32.5% of every lap he’s completed. If Graham starts where he usually does, he’ll be one of the riders everyone will be chasing at Loretta’s.
#1: Regan Heighton
Reagan Heighton brings plenty of experience and consistency into this year’s Loretta Lynn’s. She finished second in Girls 11-16 at the Fox Raceway Regional and second against the boys in 65cc 10-11 Limited. She also enters the week ranked No. 6 in the Dirty 100 for the Girls (11-16) class, putting her among the top contenders in the field.
Across 718 career races, Heighton has built an impressive résumé with 581 top-10 finishes, 180 podiums, and 588 career laps led. She owns a 7.13 average overall finish and 6.87 average moto finish, while leading 19.7% of every lap she’s raced. Those numbers highlight a rider who has consistently run at the front throughout her amateur career and has the experience to contend for a strong finish at Loretta Lynn’s.
