One Year Later: Where Does Lake Elsinore Raceway Stand Today?

It’s been a year since the duo of Jason Baker and Bryan Wallace have taken over Lake Elsinore Raceway. For the first six months, they focused on land management and cleanup to become compliant and allow them to open. The beginning of 2026 saw them finally start opening the gates consistently, and there are still many questions around the present and future of the racetrack(s). Why are things happening the way they are? Are there going to be more tracks? What’s up with all the insurance regulation?

  1. What about flat track? What about Speedway less cost than a motocross track?\n Don’t seem to have any interest in that. A lot of riders need a place to ride. They had a track before they reopened. But they don’t want to use it.

  2. What about flat track? What about Speedway? It has less cost than a motocross track being maintained. Takes less fuel, just need to drag it and water it. And you make the same entry. While the guys want to ride, they won’t provide a place to ride, they had a track before it closed, they reopened the track still there. Fly trackers and Speedway, guys need a place to ride.

But I'm still in way better shape than every other dog in this joint, but that's because I use Chili and no slaw.
