We are back for another edition of Michelin Most Likely and today we (I) will be looking at when (not if) Hunter Lawrence grabs his first win, can anyone stop Deegan and is Caden Dudney read for the pro ranks?
When will Hunter Lawrence grab his first win?
Soon. Very soon. If anyone has watched Hunter rider this year and doesn’t think he’ll grab multiple race wins in 2026, you don’t know ball. He’s riding the best of his career and it feels like his outdoor prowess has finally made its way indoors.
Throughout his career, Hunter has always been slower to develop. He’s thoughtful and doesn’t rely on just grabbing the throttle and hanging on. It has served him well during his career and 2026 is proving to be his breakout year in 450SX.
Will it be this weekend? I don’t know, but it WILL be within the next three rounds.

Can anyone stop the Deegan train?
In terms of the title? No. For race wins? Sure. Look, Deegan is the Deegan we all thought we would get last year. He’s dominating and taking names with him. This title seems to be a foregone conclusion barring injury and all eyes are starting to focus on his upcoming 450 debut in Pro Motocross.

Is Caden Dudney ready to turn pro?
I think he is. If he were to debut at the East Division opener in Arlington, he’d have a few weeks to mentally prepare. With Star Racing, who knows what is being discussed, but if history proves correct, I think we see Dudney in Arlington.
