Mini Major is Headed to Monster Mountain Sept 8-10 and Here is All the Information You’ll Need

Mini Major is a Three-Day Championship event catering exclusively to 50cc-150cc mini bikes. For a break down and description of our classes CLICK HERE. We are not AMA and no membership is required. 

Thursday Sep 7, 2023 is RV pull in day (tracks will be closed), Friday Sep 8 is practice and Saturday Sep 9 through Sunday Sep 10 are championship motos.

Classes will likely sell out so make sure to sign up early and do not take a spot in a class unless you 100% plan to race that class.  There are no refunds.

Gate Selection

Moto 1: Gate picks will be determined by the order entries are received.

Moto 2: Gate picks will be determined by the finishing order of Moto 1

* Age Classes: Age as of January 1st of the current year

* No big wheels allowed in 85/150F age bracket classes or 85/150F open classes

* 85/150F big wheels are allowed in the 85/150F Beg, Nov, Open Beg, Supermini classes

* Kawasaki KX100/KX105 allowed in the Supermini classes only

* Pee Wee 7-8 yrs STOCK (Stock pipe, Stock silencer, Stock motor, etc…)

* 65cc classes need to have stock wheel size & max 65cc

* Electric Challenge includes E5, EE5 or MC-E 5.  Other manufactures are also welcome as long as equivelant power is accepted by race director.

* Girls 85 allows big wheels and up to 112cc 2 stroke

BE PREPARED FOR THE FOLLOWING
If you are wanting to park together, make arrangements to arrive together.  All vehicles should be parked parallel to one another.  There will be no circling of the wagons.

Bring trash bags and place your trash in one of the available dumpsters when leaving the property.

Sep 8 – PRACTICE DAY – No extra fee but must have a weekend wristband.

Practice 1 – Supermini

Practice 2 – 65cc Age Group / Novice (No Beginners )

Practice 3 – 85/150f Beginner / Novice / Girls

Practice 4 – PW/XR/TTR/CRF/JR (No KTM’s or Cobra’s) 

Practice 5 – 85/150f / Age Groups 

Practice 6 – 65 Beginner / Girls 

Practice 7 – 50 Age Group (No Beginners/Novice)

Practice 8 – 50 Beginner/Novice/Electric 50, 50 4-6yrs 10″, 50 Stock (no
PW/XR/TTR/CRF/JR) 

We will host three rounds of each practice group.

Father Son Race: Start Time is 20 Minutes after practice is complete. 

Race order will post by end of day. 

SATURDAY SCHEDULE
Sep 9 – FIRST MOTOS

Gates Open: 6am-10pm

Registration: 6am-8am
Rider’s Meeting: 7:30am
Practice: 8am – 1 round for each group 5 minutes each
Racing will begin immediately after sight lap practice
(1) practice rotation

Gromcross and Mini Fest times TBD.  Pre registration available seperately at a later date.

MYLAPS TRANSPONDER REQUIRED – Reserve your transponder before you arrive to save time and stress.

Sep 10 – SECOND MOTOS 

Gates Open: 6am
Practice: 8am – Site lap only
Racing will begin immediately after practice
