McGrath, Reed, Brayton, GL, The Deegans and More To Race MotoCar Fite Klub Oct 7

MotoCar FITE Klub, featuring Jeremy McGrath, Chad Reed, and Justin Brayton at Travelers Rest Speedway in Travelers Rest, S.C. returns Thursday, October 7 at 7:30 pm ET. New to this year’s racing format will be an industry class, featuring dignitaries from the motocross industry. Additional rider announcements will be made shortly.

The inaugural MotoCar FITE Klub event featured McGrath, the eventual winner of the race, who is the winner of seven AMA Supercross titles and the all-time winningest AMA Supercross racer. Reed, who finished second behind McGrath is a two-time AMA Supercross Champion. Brayton, a four-time Australian Supercross champion, and Deegan, a 16-time X-Games Gold Medalist.

Grant Langston has recently been added to the roster, as has the Deegan family.

Hailie Deegan is a competitor in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for David Gilliland Racing, racing in the No. 1 Ford F-150. She grew racing off-road but made the transition to asphalt in 2016 and became the first female driver to win races in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. In 2017, she became the youngest member of the NASCAR Next class. This will be Hailie’s first time competing in Landscape Design Company MotoCar FITE Klub 2.0 and will race against some of the biggest names in supercross/motocross.

Multi-time amateur motocross champion Haiden Deegan will compete in the industry class, giving the Deegan family a presence in both features. The youngest athlete to perform a back flip on a dirt bike, Haiden, who is better known as “Danger Boy,” is a star on and off the track with more than 1 million social media followers.

Both Hailie and Haiden have big shoes to fill as their Dad, Brian, a 16-time X-Games Gold Medalist, makes his second appearance in MotoCar FITE Klub. Brian has enjoyed success an array of motosports disciplines, including Supercross, Motocross, Rally Car, Off-Road, Freestyle Motocross and Monster Jam.

“I am looking for some great battles on the track,” said Brian Deegan. “This is a going to be one amazing event.”

“As we move forward with this great event once again we will continue to build on the success of our first race,” said Rob Buydos, MotoCar FITE Klub event organizer. “This elite class of athletes will put on a great race for live event fans and those tuning in through the FITE app.”

New to this year’s format will be an industry class that will showcase Racer X Illustrated’s Jason Weigandt, Swap Moto Live’s Michael Antonovich, Vital MX’s Steve Giberson, LeBig USA’s Stephan Legrand, PulpMX’s Randy Richardson and Vurbmoto’s Brent Stallo who will compete in identically prepared Hornet Race Cars.
