ClubMX Yamaha’s Max Vohland has been penalized three championship points for exceeding the post-race maximum sound limit, according to the post-race penally report from SMX Media.
At the fourth round of the championship in Houston on Saturday, Vohland finished fourth in the Triple Crown 250SX main event with 5-4-6 finishes. Instead of receiving 18 championship points, Vohland will now be credited with 15 championship points.
He is currently fifth in points, one ahead of Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Cameron McAdoo.
So they switch his exhaust between tech and race?
Burned out too Much of the packing so by the time qualifying, heats and the main had been ridden it was too loud. I think that’s how riders fail the test…maybe.
