Max Vohland Docked Three Championship Points Following Houston Supercross

ClubMX Yamaha’s Max Vohland has been penalized three championship points for exceeding the post-race maximum sound limit, according to the post-race penally report from SMX Media.

At the fourth round of the championship in Houston on Saturday, Vohland finished fourth in the Triple Crown 250SX main event with 5-4-6 finishes. Instead of receiving 18 championship points, Vohland will now be credited with 15 championship points.

He is currently fifth in points, one ahead of Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Cameron McAdoo.

  1. Burned out too Much of the packing so by the time qualifying, heats and the main had been ridden it was too loud. I think that’s how riders fail the test…maybe.
