Jeremy Martin Update Following Hangtown

Update: The team announced on Tuesday that Martin will return for Spring Creek, his final race with the team. Read full update.

It has been a tough return to racing for Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin.

After stepping away from professional racing for a brief period following the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship, Martin inked a deal with Star for at least the first three rounds of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship.

In his first appearance in Pro Motocross since the 2023 Hangtown Motocross Classic, Martin opened the season with 20-20 motos finishes for 21st overall at Fox Raceway.

In his return to Hangtown, Martin was better, having made his way to 11th in the first 250 moto before crashing after the halfway mark. He was unable to finish the race and did not line up for moto 2.

Per the team, Martin did not sustain any broken bones and looks to return this Saturday at round 3 at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, CO.

“Everything was trending in a much better direction at Hangtown until my crash just after halfway into Moto 1,” said Martin in a team press release. “I’m glad to walk away from it and move on to next weekend.”
