Report: Jeremy Martin To Return to Star Racing on a Three-Race Pro Motocross Deal

OH BOY! Steve Matthes just dropped a major story on the X.

According to Matthes, Jeremy Martin is returning to Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha on a three-race deal to race the 250 Class in AMA Pro Motocross.

Martin has previously raced two different times with the team. He turned pro with Star in 2012 and stayed there through the 2016 season. He won his two 250 Pro Motocross titles (2014 and 2015) during that time.

Following the 2016 season, Martin signed with GEICO Honda and raced for the Honda squad until the end of the 2020 season when the team folded. Ahead of the 2021 season, he retuned to Star Racing and raced for the team for two years.

After the 2022 season, Martin joined the Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha, but his time there was hampered due to injuries.

During the 2024 season, Martin suffered two concussions and stepped away from racing and the team. His last start came at the Birmingham SX in 2024.

His last start in Pro Motocross was the 2023 Hangtown Motocross Classic where he went 13-DNF after sustaining a broken and dislocated wrist in first-turn pileup.

This year, Martin has been helping the team with their VIP experience at rounds of Monster Energy AMA Supercross.
