How to Win a Set of Michelin StarCross 6 Tires at the Vurbmoto 500 East

We are just a few weeks out from the second edition of the Michelin Vurbmoto 500 East at Lincoln Trail. If you are unfamiliar with the event, watch the DEFENDING CHAMPION Randy Richardson, aka FMIP, break it all down with this course preview:

Anyhow, the event returns to Lincoln Trail in Casey, IL, October 16-17, 2026, and is a fun weekend for the washed up dirtbikers, the off-road pros, and really, anyone that likes to ride. If you didn’t watch the video above, the course is basically this: Two moto tracks. Roughly six miles of trail. Some woods. Some switchbacks. A pit bike track. An “extreme enduro” section that may or may not have consisted of a parking block. And, most importantly, absolutely no requirement that you be good at any of it.

So, grab a group of your buddies, make the trip to Lincoln Trail and “compete” in the funniest 8hr and 20min team race you ever have.

How will it work?

This one is pretty straight forward: the team (all members) or the Ironman who finish 22nd place overall will win a set of brand-new Michelin StarCross 6 tires. Do you need to know anything else? No, no you do not. There is nothing else to it. Come race, finish 22nd overall and leave with a new set of tires, which after 8hrs and 20mins of racing, you’ll probably need.

Make sure to download the Vurbmoto Prospect app on the App Store or Google Play before coming so you can monitor where you sit all weekend long. It will be the home of live timing and results.
