If you didn’t know, which I’m assuming you do if you are reading this, to determine gate picks for qualifying races at the Motocross of Nations the FIM draws ping pong balls.
To me, I’m okay with it. It’s random and provides some fun and entertainment. I’m sure most don’t like it, but whatever. It’s only for qualifying races.
Belgium got the first pick, which is massive. Spain and Jorge Prado got fourth. Italy got fifth, while defending champions France landed 12th for Saturday. Jeffrey Herlings and The Netherlands will have the eighth gate, while Team Australia, favorites for the overall, landed 17th.
Team USA drew 24th gate pick, while the home nation of Great Britain will start 29th.
Ken Roczen and Team Germany are going to have an uphill climb after getting the last gate pick for tomorrow.
