Guillem Farres has enjoyed a nice start to his first full season in the U.S. with the Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha team.
The Spanish rider began the season with 8-7 finishes at the opening two rounds in the 250 Class.
Unfortunately Farres was one of many riders caught up in a first turn crash in the first 250 moto at round three of the championship this past Saturday at Thunder Valley.
The team confirmed today that Farres sustained a broken arm in the crash and underwent surgery yesterday in Vail, Colorado.
The team said it will provide more information on a return date later.
