Garrett Marchbanks Out For Pro Motocross Opener

Man, these riders are dropping like flies right now and that’s not what you want to see heading into the first round of any series!

Yesterday at the Fox Raceway press day, Garrett Marchbanks came over a blind jump and came together with the bikes of Jerry Robin, Christian Craig, and Shane McElrath.

Today the Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX TEam announced that Marchbanks will be out “for the foreseeable future” do to the injuries that he sustained yesterday.

ClubMX Team Manager Mike Bonacci: Garrett Marchbanks will be out for the foreseeable future after suffering a crash in practice on Thursday. He will not require any surgery which should allow him to return to the bike sooner than later. We will keep you updated on his return as more information becomes available.

Marchbanks was transported to a local medic to get a fair amount of stitches around his thumb. It is the same thumb that he recently had repaired and now it is reaggravated.  We will announce his return to racing when more information is available.

We will keep you updated as we learn more about the injury as well as when the team announces that Marchbanks is ready to return to racing.
