Phoenix Honda’s Dylan Ferrandis sat out the Indianapolis Supercross with an illness, but now more information has come to light, and he will be sitting out Round 11 in Seattle as well.

Apparently the illness is an infection of his lungs and now he’s on a week to week basis on when he can return.

Both the Phoenix Honda team and Ferrandis put out statements on Instagram last night.

The good news is that it looks like Ferrandis may return to racing in St. Louis on March 30. We’ll keep you posted when we learn more.

Ferrandis currently sits tenth in 450SX points and has seven top tens on the year. His best finish was a fifth at the season opener at Anaheim 1.
