Dylan Ferrandis Injured in Practice Crash

Whelp, this is not the news we wanted to hear prior to the start of the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross opener in Houston. Yesterday, two-time 250SX West Region Champion Dylan Ferrandis, who is slated to move to the 450 Class in 2021, suffered a broken hand in a training crash.

Ferrandis posted the crash on Instagram with the caption: “Unfortunately I crashed yesterday while practicing, I « only » have broke my hand and bad bruises on my body, it could have been a disaster crash… I will try to heal and come back as fast as possible to be ready for the supercross.”

The 2021 season opens on January 16 in Houston, so Ferrandis has time to recover, but it will certainly put the Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha rider behind the eight-ball as he enters his rookie season.
