Date Change Announced for Double Header at RedBud

We have a date change to the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship calendar, ladies and gents. The double header at RedBud (rounds 4 and 5 of the championship) has been moved from Saturday (Sept. 5) and Tuesday (Sept. 8) to Friday (Sept. 4) and Monday (Sept. 7), according to Davey Coombs, founder of Racer X Illustrated and President of MX Sports Pro Racing.

In his Racerhead column on Friday, Coombs said the change in dates is due to scheduling on the NBC Sports Network.

“And here’s something that just changed: the RedBud Nationals will now be on Friday, September 4, and Monday, September 7, which is Labor Day, and not on Saturday (9/5) and Tuesday (9/8) as previously planned. The change had to do with TV scheduling over on the NBC network, as many sports are coming back online, albeit in the new normal of empty baseball stadiums and bubbles like the basketball one in Orlando.”
