Coty Schock Injures Wrist in Practice Crash, Out for Hangtown

ClubMX Yamaha will be without Coty Schock as the Pro Motocross Championship heads to Hangtown for round 2 of the series this Saturday.

Schock announced on his social media Wednesday that he suffered a practice crash earlier this week and sustained a wrist injury.

While he said initial tests show nothing is broken he will miss this weekend.

“X-rays are not showing anything,” he said in part. “It just hurts. Just got back from doing a CT scan and we’re looking for results just to dive into it a little more. As of right now, no break. Just need a little bit of time to rest. I feel like I got hit by a car. Really want to get back on the bike soon.”

At the opening round at Fox Raceway last Saturday, Schock finished 20th overall in the 250 Class with 16-22 moto finishes.
