Man, huge bummer for Cameron McAdoo and the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki squad.
At the opening round of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross yesterday, McAdoo went down hard in the first 250 Class moto and was unable to continue the race.
The broadcast did not catch the crash, and we didn’t see it, so we’re not too sure what happened.
McAdoo posted on his Instagram today that he sustained a broken sternum and “some bleeding on my lungs.”
“UPDATE: I had a crash on lap one of the first moto yesterday which resulted in a broken Sternum and some bleeding on my lungs. I am more than disappointed as my team and I put in lots of work heading into outdoors and were really looking forward to the summer. Sometimes it’s very hard not to ask “why” or get down on myself in this situation but I’m going to take responsibility and keep pushing forward. I can’t wait to be back out there later this summer. As always thanks everyone for the love and support”
At this time, we’re not sure when Cameron will return to racing, but he did state that he can’t wait to be back “later this summer.”

Hello,
I hope Cameron has a prompt recovery. I have a video that captures his accident. I realized that there is not footage of what may have happened. Let me know if this is something that may be interesting for you. Message me back and I can share the video with you…
