Most Points

If you are reading this and don’t know much about Prospect, simply it is a hub built to centralize everything you need in one seamless platform. Within the Prospect app, riders are ranked using a data-driven algorithm built around real race results. The system evaluates three primary factors: Event Size, Event Multiplier, and Gate Size Multiplier. (If you want to further explore the formula used to create the rankings below, we explain it all here.)

The MotoPlayground Race at Ponca City is an AMA Major Event, which means the event is 100x. So, take for example, you finish 1st with a 40 rider gate. Here’s how that calculation works:

• 1st Place Base Points: 26
• Event Multiplier: 100x
• Gate Size Multiplier (40 riders): 1.25
• 26 × 100 × 1.25 = 3,250 Prospect Points

So, yeah, potential for a massive points swing. Jax Baker, currently the #1 ranked rider in the Prospect National Rankings, had a MASSIVE weekend, collecting 15,160 points! He won three classes (65cc 10-11, 65cc 10-11 LTD and 65cc Open) and finished second in 85cc 9-11 LTD and fourth 85cc 9-12 Mod!

On the Move

Landon Gibson made his Triumph debut over the weekend and had a good showing, winning the 250 Pro Sport class with 1-1 finishes and taking fourth in Open Pro Sport (1-6 motos). He also led On the Move from the event, as he made an average of 8.3 passes.

Fastest on the Track

Waylon Gibbs was a speed demon at Ponca. He recorded the fastest lap in six different motos across four classes, topping Jax Baker’s five. Joey Vicari and Evan Witham each did it four times.

Most Laps Led

Nobody spent more time out front at Ponca City than McKayden Fitch. Racing across 450 B, Schoolboy 2, 450 B Limited, 250 B Limited and 250 B, Fitch piled up an impressive 46 laps led during the week. That put him well clear of Waylon Gibbs in second with 30 laps led and Jax Baker with 28.
