Big Names Confirmed for the 2024 World Mini Grand Prix!

In just SIX short days we will be at the amazing Mesquite Moto dirt bike oasis once again and getting ready to watch an amazing weekend of racing! We’ve put together a list of confirmed rippers for this year’s event and had our amateur expert Tyler Collingwood break it down for you!

The World Mini, the most prestigious race in all of the moto community. Hundreds of years ago, folks would travel far and wide to just catch a glimpse at it in all of its glory. The guys over at Vurb have been working on this event about as hard as Cooper Webb’s arm pump. While they have been putting all their effort into this event, they must have forgotten to invite me. That’s okay, maybe I wasn’t made to be the 2024 World Champion, but my odds are getting better for 2025 depending on how well I write this article.

While TC Imagez will not be in attendance, there are some big names coming to the World Mini and I’m here to give you guys some inside news on some of the confirmed riders. I’m talking about some inside knowledge that even Steve Matthes doesn’t know. Speaking of Steve, PulpMx himself will be going for a title at the World Mini. Thanks to us, we single handedly got Steve into amateur motocross. I mean, Steve is taking this so seriously he was even doing suspension testing a few days ago. He had Kris Keefer on speed dial trying to get it dialed in.

Speaking of Keefer, Kris and his son Aden will be there. If you haven’t heard of either one of these guys I’m not sure you really even enjoy motocross. Kris is one of the biggest names when it comes to testing new bikes every year and testing these bikes with different setups. Kris is a very competitive elite rider and them young guys better hope he doesn’t go after that $9,000 pro purse prize money….yeah I said 9K! Lil Keefer can hold his own also. Aden is a B class standout and one of the best amateur racers in the country. The title may not come easy though as Team Green rider Grayson Townsend has moved up to big bikes so I expect these guys to be dueling it out all weekend.

Jaydin Smart has confirmed he will be at the World Mini and i’m pretty sure this kid doesn’t miss a race. I swear every big race I tune into I see his name. Jaydin has been on the radar for a while now, but some of you may remember him as one of the kids hitting the triple last year at the Charlotte SMX round. You may have also heard of him because he wins….a lot. Jaydin rides his 65 like he’s a 450 veteran. The kid is flawless and you know he’s about to let his Cobra 65 unleash the course. Jaydin may not be able to just walk away with this one though, Seth Kemnitz is locked in and ready to become a world champion. He’s so locked in I saw on his instagram he was hitting some transfer jumps like K-Dub…maybe he’s going to hit a transfer during the national anthem to really kick off the race, I doubt that, but maybe next year.

I’ve managed to use my inside sources and elite digging skills to confirm Jadon Cooper will be going for that prize money. Jadon is no stranger to Vurb events and was even one of our hired guns last year at the Vurb Classic. Jadon not only rips, but this dude is the nicest person I have ever met. I swear he could get dead last and ride his worst and he will come off the track with a smile. Jadon just seems like a dude that is happy to be riding his dirt bike and enjoying living out his dream everyday. If you see Jadon walking around this weekend, have a conversation with him and you’ll instantly become a fan.

Well, for some of you guys this is going to be bad news and yes you will be getting beat by a girl if she does more than just WMX. Brook Whipple, one of the fastest women in the country, will be on her new Kawasaki that she posted two days ago. I’m not sure how much time she has on the bike, but in that post she used the hashtags #theyaintready #mytime, so yeah i’m just gonna let you guys know you’re screwed. Actually this is all making sense now, Wes and the guys didn’t invite me out because they didn’t want me to get lapped by Brook in the first two laps of the race, thanks for looking out for me guys.

While we have listed some very elite riders, the list does not stop there. NSA Yamaha’s newest rider Tayce Morgan will be there on his new Yamaha 85. Team Green Supermini rider Ryder Ellis will be there tearing up the Supermini and Schoolboy 1 class. Sawyer Geick will be ripping the 85 classes and Jaxon Castro will be dicing it up in the 50 classes as well. Oh, and did I mention that if you purchase merch at the Vurb booth you will receive 10x the chances at winning the Dreamstakes? Yeah, 10x the chances, that’s a lot if my math is correct.. So make sure to swing by the booth, say what’s up to the guys and enjoy being at the event of the century.
