Race Schedule

What is MXGP Format and How Does It Work?

This unique racing format stems from the FIM World Motocross Championship/MXGP, thus the name World Mini.

Each class will receive one rotation of practice, a qualifying race for gate pick, and 2 motos. Classes with more than 40 riders will run divisions for advancement to the Championship Race.

Your Qualifying  finish position will be your gate pick for both Motos 1 & 2.

The combined score from the 2 motos will determine the 2023 World Mini Championship.  Those not qualifying/advancing to the Championship Race will compete in a 2 moto format Consolation Race.

How Does Qualifying Work?

Classes with 40 riders or less (Includes Pro/A Classes)

  • Qualifying Race – 5 Laps
  • Gate Pick: Random Selection
  • All riders in classes with 40 or less will automatically advance to the Championship Race.
  • Your finish position in the Qualifying Race will be your gate pick for Motos 1 & 2 in the Championship Race.

Classes with a max of 72 riders:

Qualifying Race/Divisions – 5 Laps

  • 2 divisions of 36 riders each.
  • Gate Pick: Random Selection
  • The top 16 out of each division advance to the Championship Race to make up positions 1-32.
  • The remaining 40 riders will move on to the LCQ (Last Chance Qualifier)
  • Gate pick for the LCQ will be based on your finish position from your Qualifying race.
  • The top 4 from the LCQ will advance to the Championship Race to make up positions 33-36.
  • The remaining 36 riders that did not advance will compete in a 2 moto format Consolation Race.

Championship Race – 2 moto format

  • Gate Picks for Moto 1 & 2 of the Championship race are based on your Qualifying/Division Race position.
  • Overall Finish: Combined score from Moto 1 & 2.
