Bench racing just got a whole lot easier. Who has more wins? Who has the better average finish? Who gets better starts? And what happens when two riders actually line up against each other? What once took a late night, a few drinks and some serious spreadsheet digging can now be settled in seconds.
With the Prospect Rider Comparison Tool, you can put any two riders in the Prospect database head-to-head and dig much deeper than simply comparing their latest results.
And there might not be a better example of what the tool can uncover than the top two finishers in the 250 B class at the 2026 AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s: Tanner Dorman and Tristan Prueitt.
Based on available results with Prospect, Prueitt currently sits 13th in Prospect’s All-Time Rankings compared to Dorman at 368th. In the 2026 rankings, Prueitt is sixth while Dorman sits 116th. Pruett has also accumulated 478,990 career points compared to Dorman’s 198,398.
In their respective careers, Prueitt has recorded 341 career wins in 1,129 races, giving him a 30.20 percent win rate. Dorman has 36 wins through 271 races for a 13.28 percent career win percentage. Prueitt also owns the advantage in career podiums, top-10 finishes and laps led. He has led 1,189 laps during his career—41.36 percent of all laps he has raced—while Dorman has led 192, or 16.49 percent.
Average finish? Prueitt again. His career average overall finish is 4.42, compared to Dorman’s 8.01, while his average moto finish of 3.60 beats Dorman’s 5.63.
Then they went racing at Loretta Lynn’s.
Despite the difference in their career résumés, it was Dorman who came away ahead of Prueitt in 250 B at the Ranch, while Prueitt gained the advantage in Schoolboy 2, taking home the title while Dorman finished 15th.
