Monster Energy Kawasaki confirmed on Thursday that Chase Sexton will miss a second straight round of Monster Energy AMA Supercross as he continues to recover from a crash prior to round 8 last week.
Sexton, who signed with the team this off-season after two years with Red Bull KTM, missed round 8 in Daytona due to pain in his lower back and hip from the crash.
The team confirmed that the injuries will cause Sexton to miss round 9 in Indianapolis this Saturday as well.
In 2026, Sexton has one win and is currently fifth in points despite missing one round.
