We have made it through two rounds of the SuperMotocross Playoffs and we have an epic final round coming up Saturday. Before we get to the finale, it is once again time for us (I) to reorder the GUTS Racing Power Rankings.

Slaw’s Rankings After Round 2
1: If only someone had predicted this. Oh, wait, that was me! As I’ve written all year, we don’t put enough R E S P E C T on Hunter’s name. He has a tough challenge this weekend, but if he pulls off another win, it would mean a title for the first time in his 450 career.
2: Shimoda got that dawg in him. Despite being sick, Jo Show put together a hard fought 2-2 for the overall and took advantage of the Levi/Deegan thing. Oh, and apparently he was sick all weekend. “Very stressful day yesterday,” he wrote on IG. “I couldn’t perform at my best due to fever so I had to manage and survive. Thought I was racing in sauna, head ache, sweating so much, no energy, but still needed jacket to wear.” Jo doesn’t have to win this weekend — he can finish second and still claim the title — which has to be a relief for him.
3: Say want you want about it, but it has people talking and interested in the Playoffs.
4: Weird start from Jett, who is typically very good at those (ask JT, that bike has POWER), but man, that charge from the back was all-time.
5: Still has it and still in this title fight.
6: I will never be able to explain the results of Nate Thrasher.
7: Keep himself alive in the championship chase with a solid performance. He’s fighting through a lot, so this is even more impressive.
8: I will never be able to explain the results of Ty Masterpool.
9: Been a rough year for Dax. I haven’t left the Dax Bandwagon because of results like these. He’s got “it” he just needs to stay healthy.
10: Still has it.
