Levi Kitchen on Haiden Deegan Incident in St. Louis: “There’s a lot of money on the line”

I don’t feel like I need to rehash the Levi Kitchen and Haiden Deegan incident in the second 250 race at the second round of the SuperMotocross Playoffs in St. Louis on Saturday. You’ve seen it. You’ve debated it. I probably will add little to an already toxic argument across the Internet.

We have yet to hear from either party aside from press releases, which didn’t offer much.

Until now.

Kitchen took to his Instagram today and basically said, “yeah, man, a lot of money on the line. I did what I did.”

Here is what he actually wrote:

“Wild night of racing in St. Louis. Was happy to be healthy after the start crash in practice just pretty sore. As far as the incident in moto 2 there’s a lot of money on the line. Had I stayed up and got on the podium i’d be back in this thing with an opportunity to make great money in Vegas. Love me or hate me I’m racing for myself and myself only. Thanks to the people who support me. See you in Vegas.”
