Report: Chase Sexton to Return at RedBud

Defending 450 Pro Motocross Champion Chase Sexton is expected to return at round 6 this Saturday at RedBud, Racer X is reporting.

Having missed the previous four rounds after crashing in the opening moto of the series at Fox Raceway, details have been scarce regarding Sexton’s condition and his future at Red Bull KTM.

Following the opener, the team reported he would miss round 2 at Hangtown, but said that he did not sustain any broken bones, but was “banged” up, after his crash at the opener. That was the last update before Racer X’s report on Tuesday.

Rumors around the pits have Sexton moving to Monster Energy Kawasaki for 2026 and beyond once his contract is up with KTM this year.

Stay tuned for an official update from the team or Sexton regarding this weekend.

Below is the report via Racer X:

Chase Sexton has signed up for this weekend’s RedBud National, so the defending 450 Pro Motocross Champion will be on track for the first time since the opening laps of the season. Is this post-supercross season reset exactly what Sexton needed? We’ll find out.

Remember, RedBud is a home race for the midwestern-born Sexton. As such, he’s on our Racer X event sticker, which you can pick up for free at our booth this weekend at the race. Go grab one before you head to the fence to see how Sexton does! @chasesexton
