Firepower Honda’s Dean Wilson confirmed last night with Vurbmoto that he will return to racing in Nashville this weekend for Round 14 of Monster Energy Supercross.

Dean-O has been sitting out since fracturing his scapula in Daytona. He posted a photo on Instagram of his helmet this weekend, which prompted us to reach out:

Oh, my bad. That was Grandpa Earl…How embarrassing for me to insert the wrong code. Silly me. Here’s his helmet for the weekend. You know Wilson has got to bring the heat for his return!

Also, I made sure to check that Wilson is stocked up for Nashville with his cowboy boots, hat, crop top, and Marlboros. He said it worked last time for him, so he’s going to run it back.

These four races to end the season and the SuperMotocross Playoff rounds will probably be the last races of Wilson’s career, at least here in the States. He said that the chances of him returning in 2025 are not high at the moment.

Let’s all soak in these final races with the legend and hope they bring him into opening ceremonies to do some K-Dub transfers to “My Hero” by Foo Fighters.
