250SX East Region Team Guide

Just when you were getting used to the 250SX West Region, we are moving East. That’s right, the 250SX East Region kicks off this weekend in Houston and Vurb is here to give you a preview of the teams and riders.

Honda HRC

Hunter Lawrence: Hunter is back on a long term deal and is one of the favorites for a title entering the East Region.

Chance Hymas (Select East Region rounds): Hymas will make his pro debut in 2023 and as of now will race “select” East Region rounds.

Red Bull KTM

Tom Vialle: The two-time MX2 World Champion comes over for his U.S. debut in 2023.

Rockstar Energy Husqvarna

Jalek Swoll: Swoll broke his arm last week and is out for the time being. Will the team move up Talon Hawkins? He is on the pre-entry list but the team has not made an official announcement.

Talon Hawkins: The team announced on Wednesday that Hawkins will fill-in for Swoll and debut at Houston.

TLD/Red Bull/GasGas

Michael Mosiman: Mosiman returns for another season.

Monster Energy/Star Racing Yamaha

Nick Romano: Romano will make his Monster Energy Supercross debut with the team this weekend. He raced Pro Motocross with the team in 2022.

Romano is OUT for this weekend. A return date has not been announced.

Jordon Smith: The veteran joins the team after spending 2022 with Fire Power Honda.

Nate Thrasher: Thrasher is back for another year with the team.

Haiden Deegan: He is on the pre-entry list but is he actually racing? The team has not announced yet.

The team announced this week that Deegan will make his pro Supercross debut in Houston.

Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki

Jo Shimoda: Shimoda will miss the start of the season due to a shoulder injury sustained last week.

Seth Hammaker: Hammaker broke his wrist last week and is out for the start of the season.

Chris Blose: With both Shimoda and Hammaker out for the start of the season, the team signed the veteran to fill-in.

Jett Reynolds (Out for Supercross): Jett is out for Supercross as he recovers from a wrist injury sustained in 2022.

Progressive/HEP Motorsports Suzuki

Marshal Weltin: Weltin joined the team during Pro Motocross in 2022 and is back for another year.

Phoenix Honda Racing

Jace Owen: Owen comes over from the ClubMX Yamaha team.

Cullin Park: Park returns to the team for his second year in Supercross.

Coty Schock: Schock is back for a second year.

Caden Braswell: The 2022 Horizon Award winner joins the team for his rookie season.

Muc-Off/FXR/ClubMX Yamaha

Jeremy Martin: J-Mart comes over from Star Racing and will make his debut for the team this weekend.

Garrett Marchbanks: Marchbanks sustained a broken wrist this off-season. He is out for the start of the season.

Preston Kilroy: The team announced this week that Kilroy will fill-in for Marchbanks.

Fire Power Honda

Max Anstie: Anstie joined the team for World Supercross and will continue on in the 250 Class.
