X-Rays Negative for Max Vohland, Will Get Second Opinion

Max Vohland, who missed a majority of his rookie supercross season last year with a dislocated hip, exited the 250SX East Region opener on Saturday in Minneapolis early after crashing on the opening lap.

The Red Bull KTM rider ended up going down in the first turn with multiple riders and he made the decision to get checked out by the medical staff on-site, ending his race before the completion of the first lap.

According to the team, initial X-rays did not show any broken bones but Vohland plans to get a second opinion when he returns home this week.

We will provide an update regarding his status for round 2 this weekend in Arlington once more is known.
