The Drew Adams front has been rather quiet this off-season. Would he be signing with Pro Circuit? Turning pro in Supercross in 2025?
We are starting to get some answers, though nothing has “officially” been announced.
Per Steve Matthes, he of PulpMX Hockey fame, Adams has signed with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki for a “few years.”
But is he turning pro in SX?
Ryan Holliday, the frontman of the Team Green Kawasaki program, was recently on Winners Take Y’all and provided an update:
“So, the plan, he’ll start out in Supercross Futures again. Realistically, if there becomes an opening on the Pro Circuit team and he’s ready, of course he has to be ready so that’s his main focus and motivation right now, to be ready. If that day comes, then plug him in at that next step and go from there.”
If you don’t know who Drew is, he is the NEXT great red head in the sport. Some of us (me) called this a long time ago. His 2024 campaign was amazing as he won three rounds of Supercross Futures, the Horizon Award at Loretta Lynn’s, finished second in MX2 in Canada, won the Scouting Moto Combine at RedBud and finished 12th overall in the Pro Motocross debut at Ironman.
Keep an eye on this kid and go listen to the full show with Holliday, it’s great.
