Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki has announced a few changes to its roster ahead of the Pro Motocross opener this Saturday at Fox Raceway.
Drew Adams will miss the opener as he continues to recover from a wrist/arm injury he sustained earlier this year at Cleveland Supercross when he was landed on by another rider.
Cameron McAdoo is also out after it was recently discovered he sustained a fracture in his hand following his crash at the season finale of Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Salt Lake City. He posted an update on Instagram Thursday:
“I have been pretty quiet here the last couple weeks working to get myself back healthy after my crash in Salt Lake. Unfortunately, I will not make the start of the Motocross series. I ended up with a small fracture in my hand, which was missed on the initial x-ray. After two weeks of therapy on a “sprained wrist” with little progress I went back in for more scans where they found that there was a fracture. I couldn’t be more bummed as I was very excited to make the start of outdoors this year after missing the last few years. I am doing everything in my power to get fully healthy and back out there ASAP. As always, thank you everyone for your support.”
Nick Romano will continue to fill-in at the team and will be joined by Levi Kitchen and Seth Hammaker.
