Without further ado, these are things that definitely WERE NOT said by the riders or personnel after the second round of the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, but we all know they were thinking it.
Scheduler: “Races in Norcal in January are a great idea, and we should definitely keep doing it.”
Dirt Wurx: “The one thing we need to be doing during a season is working harder, and having a mud race in week two just puts everyone in great spirits for the rest of the championship.”
Jett Lawrence: “I felt like I was riding around in a wheelbarrow out there.”
Malcolm Stewart: “I’m having a blast on these opening laps. Just really able to go out there and find my flow and get into a nice rhythm that sets me up for the rest of the race.”
Jeremy McGrath: “I wasn’t worried about Jett having an undefeated season, just as I’m not worried about him getting 72 wins.”
Justin Barcia: “Riding around in torrential rain really helped with my illness.”
Dean Wilson: “I was gutted to see Vince Friese not make it into the main.”
