This is Why YOU Need to Race the 2022 Mad Skills Motocross Vurb Classic

The Vurb Classic has been a staple for this company since 2008 when the boys decided to throw on their promoter hats for a special one off race at Breman MX. Then it was labled the Vurb Pro Am Classic and the likes of Justin Barcia, Adam Cianciarulo, Jase Lewis, Les Smith, friend of Vurb Max Tannenbaum, Derek Rogers, the T-Dog Squad’s own Justin Starling, Zack and Chase Bell and, well you get it. A LOT of fast dudes showed up! Since 2008 Vurb has had the who’s who of amatuer motocross racers show up to race our events. Along the way (I can’t remember what year) we added the “Hired Guns” aspect to the event.

The “Hired Guns” are hired by us. We hand pick some of the fastest racers in each class and put bibs on them so they stand out on the track. Your job, if you aren’t a Hired Gun, is to beat the riders with the bib. Do you think you have what it takes? IF you beat the rider with the bib, then the entire world will know who you are! It’s that simple!

This year we’ve got another solid list of Hired Guns including Daxton Bennick in A, Tiger Wood in Supermini, Brandon Haas in 30+, Talon Robertson in 51cc 4-6, and Luke Fauser just committed as well. We will be announcing more soon, but this is already a starting lineup that could win an NBA Championship.

A lot has changed with vurbmoto since the inception of this event, but we’ve stuck to our roots. As the years have gone by the Classic has grown and has gotten better. At the 2022 Mad Skills Motocross Vurb Classic we have 34 classes to get through and this year we are running a three moto format! This is a prestigious event where you will feel like you’re racing an amateur national , but you’ll have way more fun.

Our crew will be on hand to make sure that you feel like Eli Tomac and Ken Roczen as we roam the track shooting photos and videos for our site and social media. All of the photos from the event will be available to purchase on our new vurbphoto.com platform. You will also need to stop by the vurbmoto tent to buy some of our new Fall merch and hang out with us! We look forward to some good vibes, good times, and dirtbikes.

Another cool part about our event is that we hand out a lot of awards. We have six Vurb Outstanding Performance Awards, Amateur and Youth Power Awards (for Hired Guns and non Hired Guns), the Race Tech Most Shocking Performance Award, the Conductor’s Cup (given to the best performing training facility), and of course the Clayton Sain King of the Classic Award given to the best average finishing rider in 2 or more classes.

We’ve recently just added two new awards too! We’ve now got the Queen of the Classic Award given to the most outstanding female athlete of the weekend. Then last but not least it’s the Fist Gloves Hotdog King Award given to the winner of our hotdog eating contest. Good luck though, we will be bringing a Hired Bun for this event!

Heads up to all of you pro women racers out there! We are raising money and 100% of what we get will go to the Women’s Pro class purse and we will be raffling off a brand new YZ 250F live at the event, with all proceeds going to the Pro Purse.

So, YOU reading this. Grab your family, friends, and everyone you know and bring them all to NXT LVL 101 in Gray Court, South Carolina on September 30- October 2. We have practice and registration on Friday and race Saturday and Sunday.

We will see you there!
