The Top Ranked Amateur Rider in Every State: Southwest Region

For years, around pits across the country, banter about the top ranked rider in your respective state would echo far and wide. Billy would tell you HE is the best rider in Washington. After all, he’d won TWICE this year already at Chicken Lick Raceway.

Jonny would shoot back: “Well, I WON THREE TIMES THIS YEAR?!?!”

And just like that, the debate would drag on for months—sometimes years—fueled by bench racing, selective memory, and a whole lot of confidence.

Now, thanks to the Vurbmoto Prospect app, we’ve finally put an end to the madness. Much to the chagrin of Billy and Jonny—who are definitely NOT No. 1—we can now tell you the top-ranked rider in every state.

Slaw don’t math, but other people do. And those people built a very real, very scientific formula to determine these rankings. (Yes, it’s legit. Go read about the formula.)

With the 2025 season winding down, we’re spending this week showing YOU the top-ranked rider in every state. Today, we are looking at the Southwest Region.
