That Didn’t Take Long! Christian Craig Inks New Deal

Well, that didn’t take long. After announcing earlier this week that he had asked, and was granted his release from a two-year contract signed signed with Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing prior to the 2025 SMX season Christian Craig has found a new home.

Quad Lock Honda announced that Craig will contest the upcoming FIM World Supercross Championship alongside Joey Savatgy in the SX1 Class.

Craig joins a field that will include Jason Anderson, Ken Roczen, Cooper Webb, Eli Tomac and many more for the six-round championship which begins Oct 18 for the Malaysian GP at Kuala Lumpur.

Below is the full announcement:

Christian Craig, former West Coast Supercross Champion, will contest the SX1 class with Quad Lock Honda aboard the CRF450RWE. Craig’s journey with Honda goes back to where it all began, he claimed his very first Supercross victory on a Honda. With over 20 podium finishes in the 250 Supercross class and proven top-five results in the highly competitive 450 Motocross category, Craig brings both experience and pedigree to the team. His talent, determination, and history with Honda make him an ideal fit, and the team is thrilled to welcome him as the final piece of Quad Lock Honda’s 2025 World Supercross line-up.
