I’m about to pull out some yell at the clouds, walked uphill four different ways and then back downhill uphill, get off my lawn type stuff. Just bear with me.
When I was growing up, tracking amateur results was nearly impossible. You had Cycle News and that was about it. Sure, other media outlets posted results from the major events like Loretta’s, Mini O’s, Ponca, World Mini and more. But what about your local races? State Championships? Weekend events at tracks halfway across the country? Good luck.
Then social media came along and made things a little easier. Tracks and promoters started posting results, riders started sharing their finishes, and suddenly you could keep up with a lot more racing. But here’s the problem: When there are hundreds of races happening across the country on any given weekend, how the hell are you supposed to keep track of it all?
That’s where the Prospect app comes in. We’ve been building something that I would’ve absolutely loved to have growing up. One place to follow amateur motocross across the country. Enhanced live timing, real-time race leaderboards, detailed rider profiles, complete racing histories, Prospect National Rankings, MotoPlayground Dirty 100 Rankings, and a whole lot more.
Instead of digging through hundreds of social media posts or trying to track down results from a race three states away, it’s all in one place. From there, we put it into our proprietary algorithm which ranks riders based on event data turning motocross into a gamified experience driven by real performance metrics. And while we regularly feature our Prospect National Rankings and MotoPlayground Dirty 100 Rankings, there’s another side of Prospect that deserves a little more attention.
We’re also tracking and ranking Yamaha BLU CRU racers across the entire country. Every participating rider. Every recorded result. All feeding into a ranking system that allows you to see how BLU CRU racers stack up against one another nationwide. And with the year winding down, we’re going to start digging even deeper into the data. State-by-state rankings, rider comparisons, and plenty more ways to highlight the amateur racers putting in work every weekend.
We’re kicking things off with a look at the current Yamaha BLU CRU Rankings. With Mini O’s and several other races still on the calendar, there’s plenty of opportunity for these standings to change before the year is over. But for now, here’s where things stand this week.

Top 10 Overall
#1: Riley Busse
It’s been a strong 2026 season for Riley Busse, as the New Berlin, Wisconsin, native continues to make strides in the bigger-bike classes. Currently ranked 15th in the 2026 Prospect National Rankings, Busse has put together several impressive performances at some of the biggest amateur events in the country.
His biggest highlight came at Loretta Lynn’s, where he finished runner-up in the College (18-24) class with consistent 4-3-3 moto scores. It was a significant improvement from his eighth-place finish in 450 B in 2025. He also competed in the highly competitive 250 Pro Sport class, finishing 18th overall.
More recently, Busse carried that momentum into the MotoPlayground Race at Ponca City, where he recorded three top-10 overall finishes. He finished third in College (18-24), fifth in Open Pro Sport, and 10th in 250 Pro Sport, including a fourth-place moto finish in Open Pro Sport.

According to Prospect, Busse has collected 140 career overall victories and 220 podium finishes, including 11 AMA Featured Event wins. Three of those Featured Event victories have come in 2026, adding to an already impressive racing résumé.
Busse finished 2025 ranked third nationally in Prospect and currently sits 15th in 2026. With Mini O’s still ahead, he’ll have another opportunity to close out the season with a strong result and climb the rankings before the calendar flips to 2027.

#2: Jaydin Smart
If we’re talking about impressive amateur motocross résumés, it’s pretty hard to overlook Jaydin Smart. It’s been another great year for 13-year-old from Berry Creek, California, who continues to establish himself as one of the top young talents in amateur motocross, as he added another major accomplishment to his already stacked résumé in 2026, capturing his sixth Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championship.
Smart was nearly untouchable in the 85cc (10-12) class at the Ranch, sweeping all three motos to claim the title. He also finished third overall in 85cc (10-12) Limited, overcoming an 18th-place finish in Moto 2 to rebound with a runner-up finish in the final moto.
His success hasn’t been limited to Loretta’s, either. Most recently, he won both the 85cc (9-13) and Mini Sr. 2 (13-15) classes at Round 2 of the Gold Cup in Florida, while adding a runner-up finish in Mini Sr. 1 (12-14). Smart did not compete at the MotoPlayground Race at Ponca City, which cost him valuable points. He was in Europe at the Motocross of Nations where he won his second straight 85cc BluCru Superfinale.
Smart currently sits 21st in the 2026 Prospect National Rankings and fourth all-time. His career numbers are pretty staggering, with 629 recorded races, 203 overall victories, and 325 podium finishes, including 44 AMA Major Event wins.
With Mini O’s still on the schedule, Smart has another opportunity to add to his 2026 accomplishments before turning his attention to 2027.
#3: Jett Stultz
One of the biggest movers in the 2026 Prospect National Rankings has been Jett Stultz of Surprise, Arizona. After finishing 2025 ranked 454th nationally, Stultz has climbed all the way to 23rd in 2026, an impressive jump of 431 positions.
Stultz’s biggest result of the season came at Loretta Lynn’s, where he finished third overall in the Micro 1 (4-6) Shaft Drive Limited class. After a tough opening moto left him 14th, Stultz rebounded with back-to-back runner-up finishes to secure a spot on the podium at the Ranch. He also picked up a Regional Qualifier victory at Pala Raceway earlier in the year.
More recently, Stultz made the trip to the MotoPlayground Race at Ponca City, where he finished fifth in 51cc (4-8) Shaft Limited, sixth in 51cc (4-6) Special Limited, and 19th in E Bike Mini (4-8) Limited. He also collected a pair of runner-up finishes at Round 2 of the RAD Riders Series in September.
According to Prospect, Stultz has recorded 421 races, 379 top-10 finishes, and 104 podium finishes, including 52 overall victories. That’s a top-10 finishing rate of 90 percent across his recorded career. He’s also led 408 laps and collected an AMA Featured Event win in 2026.
With a massive jump in the national rankings, a Loretta Lynn’s podium, and plenty of racing still ahead, Stultz has certainly made his mark in 2026.
