T-Dog’s Takes: What I’m Buying With My PulpMX LCQ Challenge Money; Karnow Goes BIG With A Yacht!

Notice that this column now has a sponsor? That’s right! Troy Dog joined the Blu Cru and you should too! I have one in my garage right now and I can’t wait to go shred it! Thank you to Yamaha for believing in my ELITE columns on this dirt bike website enough to sponsor me. What a dream come true! BTW: Have you seen the all-new YZ450F? OH. MY. GOODNESS. I can’t wait to test that bad boy.

The privateers in Steve Matthes’ PulpMX LCQ Challenge might as well retire because they just hit the lottery baby! From now on they are trading in their race vans for Audi R8’s and instead of eating ravioli out of a hub cap (BIG PulpMX reference here) they are eating Tomahawk Ribeyes EVERY NIGHT! It’s the lifestyles of the rich and the famous and they are joining Steve as tall ceiling brothers. I hit up the top five from the race to see if they had any idea what they might be spending that money on. Let’s take a look!

Winner – Josh Cartwright

Cartwright is redoing his entire garage right now. He’s just doing new floors, new cabinets, and paint. He’s making it a moto garage that he can be proud of. He’s using some of the money for that and he said he will probably invest some of the other funds into his career at some point. He might even race a national at the end of the year if he needs to qualify for the playoff races, but he’s got nothing planned at the moment. He’s swimming in money. He’s busy.

2nd – Cade Clason

I’m assuming that Cade will be using some of his money to buy a new phone that works because he has completely ghosted me. I thought it was personal until his best friend Alex Ray told me that Cade never even texts him back or calls him anymore. Sad. We don’t want your money Cade, we just want to check on you, bro. Please come home, we miss you.

3rd – Chase Marquier

Marquier said that he plans on paying off his credit card from the season and using some of the money for a down payment on an apartment in OKC to live. Also, Chase is trying to find a team to take him in for the outdoors. If you have any ideas then DM him. Thanks.

4th – Hunter Yoder

Hunter Yoder. Hunter Yoder. Hunter. Hunter. Hunter Yoder. That’s the lyrics to an original song that my four-year-old son wrote after watching Blippi one day. It’s super catchy. After finishing fourth in the LCQ Challenge, Yoder caught up to Blippi on net worth. Hunter said that he thinks he’s going to use the money to buy a vehicle. When asked if it would be an Audi R8, he has yet to reply. So, honestly it’s just down to what color he wants at this point.

5th – Logan Karnow

Karnow told me that he was going to buy a boat, so you know, I assumed we were talking about a yacht. You would think the same thing, right? So, I asked him if he was going to invite T-Pain and at first he didn’t understand the reference, but then he did. IF you don’t just look up “I’m On a Boat” on YouTube. Everyone knows that song. In reality, Karnow tweeted that it’ll be a fishing boat. I’m bummed. I wanted to go on Karnow’s yacht.
