SMX Next Returns in Daytona, Here’s Who Is Racing

The third round of the 2026 SMX Next – Supercross Championship will take place this Saturday in conjunction with round 8 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship in Daytona.

The AMA National Championship will consist of four invitational qualifying rounds featuring the best A and B riders in the country and culminating in the SMX Next Championship in Philadelphia, PA on April 25. 

Monster Energy/Yamaha Star Racing’s Kayden Minear, who won the opening round at Anaheim 2, returns after missing the second round in Houston after a hard crash in qualifying. Of course, his Star teammate Caden Dudney, who won that Houston round, will not be racing as he made his pro SX debut in Arlington last weekend.

Some newcomers this weekend are Team Green Kawasaki’s Jayce Wolf and Aden Keefer, who join the returning Landen Gordon, Vincent Wey, Deacon Denno and more.
