Tiger Wood and Slaw have a long history. No, do not call if beef. Slaw does not beef with teenagers.
BUT, we have history.
You see, back in 2020, in my annual “Annual Ranking of the Best Names of Loretta Lynn’s” I listed Tiger in the column. To the shock of many, including myself, Tiger is not his real name. Upon that realization, here is what I wrote displacing him from the list. His birth name is Thomas by the way.
Ranked #12 on my list was Australian Tiger Wood. Great name, right?
WELL, IT HAS BEEN BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION THAT IT IS ALL FALSE! HIS REAL NAME IS THOMAS! TIGER IS JUST A NICKNAME!
You have to commit to this, which is why we respect Matthew LeBlanc’s parents so much. Full commitment there.
Look, we’re sure Thomas is a cool guy and all, but THOMAS WOOD does not rank in the top 20 of coolest names. For this, Slaw is sorry.
Sorry, Thomas, decent name, but nowhere near top 20.
See, beef, but not beef. Thomas tricked us all. Slaw has already apologized for that.
Well, Tiger has totally REDEEMED himself in Slaw’s eyes.
On the latest episode of the Grom Report, Tiger went in hard on US KFC compared to the Australian version and I so respect it.
When asked what food he missed most, he went straight to KFC. Nope, not some weird health food, K F C.
“To all the people listening in Australia, you guys are lucky,” he said. “I have always taken it for granted. KFC is my favorite fast food place and the first time I came over here, like when I was like 11 or 12, we were like sick KFC is here and we tried it and it was awful.”
Such respect. KFC — except for those sweet, sweet biscuits — is hot garbage.
I need to fly to Australia to try the Aussie version apparently.
